Achal Cashews


Achal meets the global standards set for the products manufactured. The unit has been exposed to the concepts of an In Process Quality Control System (IPQC) and is now carrying out the process and procedures introduced. This ensures monitoring of  Quality Control at all stages of production, from acquisition of raw nuts to the manufacture of  "ACHAL QUALITY" Cashew Kernels. The IPQC system has resulted in the production of a unique quality in a generic production and has helped the unit to earn distinction in this field. Achal provides certification from renowned experts in the knowledge of Cashews and inspection procedure.

It is committed to good manufacturing practices. Cashew Kernels manufactured and packed conform to the specification laid down by the Export Inspection Council, Ministry of Commerce, and Government of India. In 2001, Achal embarked on a renewed mission on Product Quality and later adopted the QMS under ISO 9001: 2000 and obtained certification from DNV. It went in for a rigorous exercise on Food Safety Management System. It adopted the HACCP principles adopted in the FSMS governed by ISO 22000:2005.

It became the world's first Cashew Manufacturing unit to obtain the ISO 22000 Certification and continues to be under the FSMS and QMS.

Achal's customers are assured that all products offered are operating under the Food Safety Management System.
