About Achal

Achal is a Mangalore based SME currently operating two manufacturing units and support activities at different locations.

Achal Industries is engaged in the manufacture and export of Cashew Kernels. It started commercial production of Cashew Kernels on 1st December 1981.

With a small beginning, it has grown to its present status of being the most modern, integrated Cashew Kernel manufacturing plant in India.

Achal Cashews Private Limited in the same group was established in September 1983 . It is located in the village Turkewadi, Chandgad Taluka, Kolhapur Dist., Maharashtra State. It has grown to be a recognised high quality origin of fine cashews.

Achal Industries and Achal Cashews Private Limited are private, family owned enterprises.

The main product is cashew kernels and the emphasis has been on differentiantation to make our cashew kernels unique and a speciality. This is based on selection of seed, geographical origin techniques, in process quality control and quality management systems, product and process innovation,  good packaging and presentation, upgradation of facilities and emphasis on differentiation.
